The Rise of Nelolem
Father Isaiah Walsh
Ordained Priest, Trained Exorcist, Cunning Hunter
Father Isaiah is a caring man with a whole bag of tricks learned from the last half decade of dealing with the minions in the dark. Isaiah uses his knowledge provided by his communications with heaven and his access through the Catholic church to get the job done.
A 3rd generation Irish immigrant who was born and raised in Brooklyn, Father Isaiah has seen it all. From street gangs to abuse cases, Isaiah has always had a bleeding heart and a great hope for humanity. It’s no surprise that through surviving a demon attack, he would be noticed by both Heaven and the Church.
It didn’t take long for his superiors in the church to grant him a formal dismissal. On the record, he is no longer an ordained priest. The record lists him as a traveling con artist. Off the record, he is formally known by the Church to be a Soldier of Heaven.
Isaiah connected with his partner Noah James Thompson in the south and the two have been fast allies ever since. Where Noah brings skills and strengths from a hard life and training in the US Military, Isaiah uses his knowledge provided by his communications with heaven and his access through the Catholic church to get the job done.
Bag of Tricks
Relic: St. Florian’s Longsword
Details St. Florian is a historically famous Soldier of God regarded by both Heaven and the Church as a Saint. St. Florian is especially esteemed in Austria where he serves as the Patron Saint of Linz. It was a great surprise to Father Isaiah at the end of his exorcism training to be handed the gift of what looked like an antique longsword by his mentor. In self defense, he used the blade and uncovered it’s ability to project a beam of light powerful against the forces of evil.
Talisman: Litheroy’s Gift
Details Litheroy is said to be the Archangel of Revelations. This would certainly hold true to this gift, which seems attuned to the holder’s mental train of thought. When preparing for research in the ways of occult, and reflected upon with the right mindset, the book’s pages flip open to cryptic, yet relevant knowledge related to the matter at hand.
